Planet Bee Honey Farm and Meadery

"Planet Bee Honey Farm & Honeymoon Meadery offers an authentic and memorable experience into the world of the industrious honeybee. Learn about the amazing world of the honeybee - or stop by to sample our numerous floral varieties of honey and browse the gift shop. Our Honeymoon Mead, or honeywine, has been produced on site since 2011, and is available for complimentary sampling at the tasting bar from 9am-4pm daily. At Planet Bee our mission is to educate people on the importance of the honeybee through sharing their world and amazing products which can enhance our well-being."

 

Davison Orchards and Country Village

Camelot Haven Alpacas

An operational alpaca ranch offering guided tours by appointment only. Come to observe and learn about these endearing creatures. The Alpaca Country store offers certified, fair-trade, hand-crafted gifts along with a wide selection of alpaca products.

This is a great place to interact with all sorts of great creatures including: kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies, sugar gliders, pot-bellied pigs, emus, parrots, peacocks, goats, chickens and capybaras.

Historic O'Keefe Ranch

To the early days of the Okanagan Valley. The Ranch was founded in 1867, and in its earliest days was at the end of the wagon road into the Okanagan Valley and the site of the stage coach depot. It was a small, self-contained community, with a Post Office, blacksmith shop, grist mill, and even its own church and cemetery. Many of the original buildings still exist, and are a delight to explore.

Situated at the head of Okanagan Lake in the stunning Okanagan Valley, this historic site is a mecca for tourists. Just a few kilometers from the City of Vernon and twenty minutes from Silver Star Mountain, the Ranch welcomes travelers from all over the world, and extends a particular welcome to its local residents.

Historic O’Keefe Ranch tells the story of early BC Ranching and endeavours to preserve the history and culture of the early ranching era for future generations.

Canadian Wildlife Museum

The Canadian Wildlife Museum is located in the Okanagan valley, just minutes north of the city of Vernon , just off Highway 97 in the heart of spectacular south central British Columbia, Canada. We are an outstanding Tourist Attraction and likely the best Taxidermy Museum you will ever visit. If you want to see Canadian Wildlife in awesome dioramas, a visit here is a must. Nowhere in Canada will you find a more outstanding selection of mounted Canadian birds and animals. This is a place where Nature comes alive, to be shared with all who have an interest in the beauty of Wildlife and Nature. A visit here is something that the entire family can enjoy, and will never forget. The excellence in taxidermy workmanship shows itself in the hundreds of outstanding Canadian Wildlife displays that you will view in the Museum. This amazing Taxidermy Museum is two floors with about 4,000 square feet of wildlife displays. There are over 350 mounted specimens including over 120 Canadian birds of prey as well as many other Canadian birds, and over 115 different species of Canadian wildlife, including most of the different species of Canadian animals. There is also a large butterfly and moth collection. We are without question, one of the top tourist attractions in Vernon B.C. We are an amazing Tourist Attraction that is a must see, if you are visiting in the Okanagan Valley.
